The rankings assessed an all-time high of 1,500 U.S. bachelor's degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality. Schools are placed into ranking categories, including National Universities, National Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Colleges and Regional Universities. The Best Value rankings compare overall quality of the institution related to its price and any need-based aid or discounts given. Rankings were released September 12, 2022.
