Transferring Credits
We know how much effort you’ve already put into your college experience, and we want that to count. Our goal is to transfer as much credit as possible for the work you’ve completed so far.
Every student’s situation is a little different, so we’ll need to review your transcript to confirm what will transfer. In general, we accept courses taken at fully accredited colleges and universities, as long as they are similar to those offered at Principia and were completed with a grade of C- or higher.

Application Process
As a student transferring from a U.S. college or university, you’re welcome to start at the beginning of either the fall or spring semester—whatever works best for you.
To complete your application for admission, here’s what you’ll need to submit:
- Online application through The Common Application or The Principia Application
- College transcript(s) from all previous institutions
- High school transcript
- SAT/ACT scores (optional)
