Annika wanted to work for iFixit since high school. Although she’d found large tech companies like Google appealing, a summer stint at a startup made her realize she could make a greater impact at a smaller company.
It was her close relationship with her computer science professor that helped Annika secure project work with iFixit while still attending classes. That led to a winter internship, which turned into a job offer prior to graduation.
Annika attributes her ability to land a product manager position right out of college to her well-rounded experience at Principia. She now works closely with the CEO and her manager, determining the direction of the company and executing software development projects.
“Principia attracts a high caliber of thought. It's unique to be around so many genuine people all in one place,” said Annika.
Annika appreciated her professors and fellow students and was active in the Public Affairs Conference, along with her roles as a resident counselor and admissions ambassador.
"Principia was a really good atmosphere in which to grow and push myself,” she said.
