Dr. Matthew Cocks joined Principia from a career background of research and teaching in higher education. He has previously taught on programs at Liverpool John Moores University, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou, China, and the University of Birmingham, UK. His research primarily relates to the transformation of cities over time and local urban economic development strategies. Following the recent return of metaphysics in philosophy, he is also interested in the potential implications of this turn for economics.
