You can afford Principia College. Let us show you how we can help.
It’s our belief that no one should be denied a Principia College degree for financial reasons. Thanks to the benevolence of our alumni and friends that’s a philosophy we’ve been able to put into practice. Their generosity has allowed us to keep our tuition well below that of other small liberal arts colleges and offer one of the most generous scholarship and aid programs in the country. As a result, Principia College ranks among the top twenty liberal arts colleges for graduating students with low debt, according to US News & World Report.
Unlike schools processing thousands of applications, Principia is in the enviable position of being able to address each student’s needs individually. We don’t have to rely on formulas and models alone, but can tailor our aid packages for each family. Approximately 90% of our students receive some kind of financial aid, with an average package of just over $23,800 per year.
You won’t find a financial aid office more dedicated to meeting your financial needs. That’s because we know what a rewarding experience Principia College is, and how much every student contributes to our community. We’ll do everything we can to make sure financial concerns do not keep you from enrolling. The sooner you’re in touch with our office, the sooner we can get to work on your package and remove finances as an obstacle to obtaining a Higher Degree.
Meeting Student needs
"I applied for so many scholarships throughout my senior year, but I wasn't getting any. It wasn't until I finally left it up to God and realized where my supply really comes from that I got a letter telling me how much Principia was going to help. It was the perfect answer to my family's prayers."

"Principia has managed to touch every aspect of my life for the better. Academically, I have been challenged to the perfect level. I have grown tremendously but have still been able to handle the load. My reliance on Christian Science has also grown from using it only when I was in hot water, so to speak, to turning to it every day. And I've made friends who will be in my life long after I graduate. I really value my experience here, yet without the financial aid I receive, I would not have been able to attend."
