2022–2023 Visiting Weekends

There is no better way to experience Principia College than visiting our 2,600-acre campus atop the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. Students and parents have a variety of opportunities to meet with professors and coaches, attend classes, engage with current students, and participate in social activities.

Choose the visiting option that’s best for you.

  1. Visiting Weekend
    A four-day on-campus visit with professors, coaches, and students, in-person classes, social events, and more. Includes International Student Virtual Visits and Friday Parent Program.
  2. International Student Virtual Visit
    A four-day virtual Visiting Weekend with visiting students from around the world. Attend classes, engage with students, meet with professors and coaches, and participate in social events.
  3. Day Visit
    A one-on-one tour with a member of the admissions team to learn about student life, academics, study abroad programs, internships, performing and visual arts, athletics, clubs, and more.
  4. Open House
    A gathering hosted by our admissions counselors and student ambassadors featuring a campus tour, conversations with faculty, students, and College President John Williams, and a catered picnic lunch.

Parent Visits

Parents of students participating in Visiting Weekend are invited to attend our Friday Parent Program, featuring a customized itinerary that includes a campus tour, class visits, and financial aid meeting. In addition, learn about Principia’s approach to academics, our study abroad program, internships, and more. Parents are also welcome to attend a Day Visit or Open House with their student.
