Colleen Vucinovich has eleven years of executive management experience as CEO/ Managing Director of a private enterprise that operated in the health and beauty sector in South Africa. Her role included overseeing manufacturing and distribution as well as international trade, importing contract manufactured goods and exporting her brands.
Prior to founding her business, Vucinovich worked as Head of Training and Development for a direct-sales cosmetic company, where she developed the full training program and delivered training nationally. Vucinovich has experience as a brand manager and a trade marketing manager for an international cosmetic contract manufacturer.
Vucinovich serves Principia as an Associate Professor of Business Administration, focusing on teaching Management, Strategic Management and Organizational Effectiveness and using cases from her career as an executive and a marketer to make the content relevant and engaging.
Vucinovich began her career as a freelance film and television makeup artist and spent 10 years working as a film technician. She is a qualified image consultant and has worked with government and corporations, delivering image and grooming training for executives enrolled in leadership development programs. Her experience gained in sub-Saharan Africa for ethnic and international brands adds a valuable perspective on emerging markets.
