The Principia College travel fund is intended for first time College campus visits for high school juniors, seniors, and transfer students. We’ll cover most travel expenses*, meals, lodging, transportation to and from the airport, and on- and off-campus activities during your visiting weekend. You pay just $50 to secure your date.
Parents are welcome to travel to the College with their student but they are responsible for their own travel expenses and accommodation arrangements. We encourage them to stay at the Principia Guest House where we offer 50% off the regular room rates. For reservations please call 618-374-5390. While we do provide free roundtrip airport transportation for parents, many prefer to rent a car at their own expense. All major car rental agencies are represented at the airport. Parents are encouraged to use our travel agent to make sure they book the same flight as their student.

**The travel fund does not cover or reimburse checked bag fees. If you are driving to campus, please save hotel receipts and record your mileage. We will reimburse you for the approved expenses and mileage after you complete your visit. Flights must be booked through our travel agent at least 14 days prior to departure, and only after your visit is approved.
