Spring 2015 Deadline to Register/Book Travel

February 12–15: Valentine's Day Weekend

Bring your mittens for ice skating at the outdoor rink at St. Louis's Forest Park. Enjoy a performance by world-renowned organist Douglas Cleveland on our custom-built Casavant Pipe Organ. Cheer on our men’s tennis team as they compete in a weekend tournament. Dance the night away at a Frozen-themed Valentine’s dance hosted by Howard House on Saturday night. 

January 29

February 26–March 1

Your first night on campus, Ziauddin Yousafzai, human rights activist and father of the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai, will share how he peacefully resisted the Taliban’s efforts to shut down schools in Pakistan at great personal risk and among grave political violence. Later in the weekend, watch our men’s tennis team compete against Sewanne University and Illinois Wesleyan, and attend Starbrooks, an open mic night. 

February 12

March 19–22: Theatre Studio Show

The Theatre and Dance Department will perform the Olivier Award-winning play Our Country’s Good, a drama about prisoners in an Australian penal colony. Root for our baseball and softball teams as they compete against MacMurray and Eureka Colleges. Ferguson House hosts Ferg-Con, a biannual video gaming night. Enjoy games, music, food, and fun at the Winter Carnival in our athletic training center.

March 5

April 16–19

Principia’s improv comedy group, Lazy Zipper, will perform a spontaneous, entertaining, and unique show. Hear some of Principia’s musical talent at Starbrooks, an open mic night. Attend our Spring Formal dance at a lakeside venue off-campus. Enjoy food, friends, and fun throughout the weekend.

April 2

April 23–26: Final Visiting Weekend

The College orchestra, choir, and jazz band will showcase their talent in an end-of-term concert. Students who have returned from an abroad to India and Nepal will share stories and pictures of their adventures. Attend a workshop production of Morning and Evening Tiger by Principia’s Annenberg Scholar and renowned playwright, Russell Davis.
