About Orientation
The New Student Orientation program provides students with a unique experience—one where they can explore and become part of a supportive community of practice and take part in a higher degree of opportunity, understanding, friendship, practice, and success: an education without limits. Students will learn more about Christian Science, character education, and Principia itself—its purpose and the purpose of each student here. Students will also learn about the campus community, including its standards, resources, and facilities.

During Orientation, students will be able to do the following:

  • Receive Principia ID cards, take campus tours, and move into houses
  • Attend an informational meeting about meal plans, student employment, billing, financial aid, and more
  • Meet professors at the Academic Fair and learn about academic programs
  • Meet with the Advising Office
  • Participate in various activities to help become acquainted with the college community
  • Explore the theme "Hear me when I'm silent" as part of this year's writing seminar
