Duncan Martin is currently working on a project called 58 in 58, painting all 58 national parks within 58 months. In 2015, he worked in Arches, Canyonlands, Great Sand Dunes, Rocky Mountain, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone National Parks. His 2012 show at Davis Dominguez Gallery in Tucson, Arizona, included 15 paintings from 58 in 58. He has also exhibited at Susan Street Fine Art, Solana Beach, California; Nielsen Gallery, Boston, Massachusetts; and Watson Gallery, Stonington, Maine. After teaching for nearly a decade at Principia College, Martin took a hiatus to focus on painting in the southwestern United States. In 2010, he returned to Principia to resume teaching art.
