John Lovseth is a certified forester with the Society of American Foresters. In addition to his teaching duties, Lovseth manages the College's 2,600-acre campus, where he administered one of the first Forest Stewardship Council-certified forests in Illinois. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in forestry and forest ecology at Southern Illinois University.
