Policy 11 - Education at the Principia
11. The Principia shall seek continuously to improve its educational
facilities and business practices in order to keep abreast of educational
progress and in key with changing world conditions.
In its educational methods and business practices, The
Principia shall make constant efforts to lift its standards to
the highest point that the wisdom and experience of the
administration, faculty, and staff, and the financial resources
of the institution will permit.

Read the Chronicle online, search for specific stories, or sign up for daily updates via email.To sign up for email alerts:

- On the left side of the screen (near the bottom) click on Manage your account
- Look for the box titled Don't have an account?
- Click on free Chronicle account now
- Fill in the form and select the free Chronicle newsletters you want to receive
- We recommend: Academe Today but you will each have unique information needs, so you will likely make unique selections
- Click on Create new account at the bottom of the form
- The Chronicle will send you an email to confirm your new account
- To activate your new account, follow the link provided in the email (this is a fraud prevention measure)

This institute issues the "Your First College Year" (YFCY) and the "College Senior Survey" (CSS). - View the records for the articles that interest you
- Full text articles may be printed, saved or emailed
- If the full text is not available online you may request the article via interlibrary loan (we will obtain a photocopy of the article for you)
How to set up a journal alert in Ebsco Host
- Click on Publications (in tool bar)
- Search for the journal title (try Academe) in the alphabetical listing
- When the title shows up in the list, click on Academe
- In the next screen click on Alert (right side of screen)
- Create an alert
- Confirm the settings (email address)
- Name the alert
- Save
