Internships and Career Development Office

Once you’ve declared a major, you’ll work with your academic adviser in that department and can partner with our office to build internships and other career exploration activities into your long-range academic plan.

Here are some of the ways our office helps students throughout their college journey:

  • Help with finding internship opportunities
  • Classes and workshops on résumé writing, career exploration, interviewing skills, and job search strategies
  • Resources for researching graduate schools and professional training programs

Beyond College

Principia offers services, events, and resources to help answer questions about graduate schools and professional programs, job-search strategies, and alumni networking—all with the goal of supporting your success beyond Principia.

Here are some of the ways our office supports students as they prepare for success after graduation:

  • "Thinking Beyond College" seminars
  • Graduate and law school workshops and consultations
  • Job fairs in the greater St. Louis area

Employer Information

We highly recommend that students complete internships, since these experiences help with career exploration, developing a professional network, and gaining relevant hands-on experience. View a list of places where Principians have interned and been hired.

Principia is eager to partner with employers and organizations interested in offering one of the following options:

  • Paid and unpaid internships
