Principia highlight (so far): I am very fortunate for all of the domestic and abroad travel that I have been able to do during my time here. Freshman year, my FYE [First Year Experience class] took a trip to New Orleans. Later in the spring, my biology block group spent a week in the Great Smoky Mountains. During my sophomore year, I went on the biology field study to Trinidad to study leatherback sea turtles. I'm now on the Peru abroad! Another major highlight has been playing tennis and traveling with the team to the regional championship in Tennessee.

Thoughts about Principia:
I really value the spiritual growth that naturally occurs at Principia in athletics and academics. No other college in the world would have given me the same level of attention or as many opportunities as I’ve had here. I've also really appreciated being in my house that has so much history and a great tradition of upholding sisterhood. Our resident counselor is the sweetest person, and every time I walk into her apartment it feels like home. Not to mention she makes killer cookies.
