"After teaching in the business/marketing research industry, I realized my passion for teaching could be paired with my desire to work with young people and try to make a difference in the world! I now thoroughly enjoy working with college students on many different fronts."

Kristin Halsey honed her professional training skills teaching clients and colleagues how to create and analyze market research data using proprietary software. She then obtained her teaching credential and masters degree in education and has enjoyed working with students for the past 15 years. Currently, Halsey is developing an online tutorial for all new students to learn how to transition smoothly to college, as well as acting as the new student advising coordinator and works individually with students to create a college plan for courses that intentionally fit with career interests. She also teaches a course that enables students to learn how to best package their talents for a successful and rewarding career after college. Kristin has also been formerly trained and serves as the student ombudsman, helping students resolve academic grievances.
