Paul Wesman was appointed to the Principia faculty in 2010. Prior to this, he worked for twenty years in the field of corporate communications, with specializations in marketing, public relations, research, and strategic communication planning. He served for seven years as Director of Corporate Communications for Right Management Consultants, Inc., a leading international human resources consulting firm based in Philadelphia.
Later, Paul started his own business as a communications consultant, helping a variety of client companies develop effective internal and external communication programs. He has managed more than twenty research projects, which became the basis for marketing initiatives on key industry topics. He has also written and edited six books on a variety of business and management topics for clients in a range of industries.
Before entering the business world, Paul had a varied career in communications, including secondary school teaching, freelance writing and photography, and video production. He worked as a speech consultant at The Mother Church in the Speech Services Department, supporting the work of the Christian Science Lecturers, and later was an on-air radio newscaster and features editor with the World Service of The Christian Science Monitor.
Paul has been active in the International Association of Business Communicators and was V.P. of Marketing for the Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia.
