Lisa Roberts joined the Library faculty in the summer of 1998. Her responsibilities include coordinating the library instruction program, developing the library homepage, developing information literacy standards throughout the curriculum and providing reference assistance. She works closely with the Freshman Year Experience (FYE) faculty to provide freshmen with a transition from high school research to college research. Lisa co-authored a paper titled “Building a Fan Base for Information Literacy” which was presented at the annual LOEX Conference in 2002 in partnership with Director of the Library, Carol Stookey. This paper was subsequently published in Integrating Information Literacy into the College Experience (Pierian Press, 2003).
Prior to her appointment to Principia's faculty, she held a position with LexisNexis as an Information Professional Support Consultant. She has also served as a research analyst/librarian for Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C., librarian for the Texas State Auditor's Office, and law librarian for the firm of Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue.
