Elizabeth (Liz) Paul joined the Principia College faculty in 2007 as a writing instructor.  She has a master’s degree in English from the University of Virginia, where she participated in the American Studies program (http://xroads.virginia.edu/).  Her bachelor’s degree is from The Evergreen State College.

Prior to coming to Principia, Liz served as a Peace Corps education volunteer in Kyrgyzstan, where she taught a variety of subjects to over eighty university students and co-created and co-directed a four-day women’s leadership conference.  Liz also helped administer a scholarship program for the American University of Central Asia and served on the Gender and Development Committee.  Before joining the Peace Corps, Liz did research, writing, and web design for the Library of Congress’s educational website, The Learning Page.
