CIS Support for Non-Principia Computers

CIS maintains a Technical Support Desk. It is staffed weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In addition to maintaining the network and Principia owned computers, the HelpDesk will also assist with problems on personally owned computers. Work on personally owned computers is generally billable at $50.00/hour in 1/4 hour increments. Owners will be asked to purchase needed parts.

Principia College is a warranty repair station for both Apple and Dell. Apple covers parts and labor on warranty repairs. Dell covers parts, but not labor on warranty repairs performed at Principia. Owners will be expected to pay for the labor involved with Dell computers.
