NEW - Microsoft Office 365
Principia is pleased to be able to offer you free access to Microsoft Office as well as Office365 online for as long as you are a current faculty or staff member, or student enrolled at Principia.

This is a subscription service which will expire when you are no longer a student or member of the faculty or staff. Any software installed under your account will revert to a demo version, any documents will still work with applicable programs.

  • Office Suite - Download and Install on up to 5 different devices, including…
    • PC & MAC and various Phones & Tablets.
    • Office products  include…  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Lync & InfoPath. (Available products vary by OS & device used)
    • Software can be deactivated and moved to other devices via your Office 365 portal.
  • OneDrive for Business – Unlimited Personal “cloud” storage
    • Setup private and shared folders.
    • Share pictures with family. 
  • Lync (Skype compatible)
    • Instant Messaging
    • Conference calls
    • Desktop Sharing

It's easy to use. Simply log in at: https://portal.office.com

Use your full “@Principia.edu” E-mail address, such as: jane.doe@principia.edu and current Principia password.

  • When prompted to “Activate” any Office product’s license, always use your full Principia email and password.
  • The Office 365 site will understand the type of device you have used to log in with and will offer options for that specific device. For example to download and install the Mac versions of Office, you must log in with a Mac.
