Jumping vehicles
Emergency jump starting is available by Watchmen 24 hours a day.  Please call the gatehouse at extension 5111 to request a jump.  There is a $10 charge for this service.

Flat tires
Emergency fill-ups for flat tires is available by Watchmen 24 hours a day.  Please call the gatehouse at extension 5111 to request this service.  There is no charge for this service.

Lockouts
Limited Unlock Service may be available.

Lost and Found
The Community Safety office is Principia's official "lost and found" site. If you are missing an item please check to see if we have it. If you find an item, bring it to us and we will store it for the owner to claim.

FINES
The school reserves the right to administer moderate fines as part of discipline for disregard of any of the school's rules and policies, or any offense against community or individual. Fines for subsequent offenses are generally increased. In addition to fines, serious or multiple offenses could result in a disciplinary hearing at Community Board, and possible suspension. The following are examples of typical first-time fines and would be charged for each violation and to each individual involved in an incident. If an incident results in a large sum of fines, the school will consider giving students the option of work-fines.

Vandalism (including water fights and inappropriate use of other's property $25-$100 + cost of repairs, replacement, labor )
Impounded or unregistered bikes $10
Use of bike without permission $50-$100
Motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, on paths or inside a building $50
Off-roading on campus property $100
Unauthorized use of vehicles (including golf carts) $100
Non-compliance with fire safety codes $25 / Day
Un-attended cooking in a dorm Or leaving burner on and un-attended $50-$100
Lighting incense, candles or other objects which utilize a flame $50
