Past Speakers and Events

In addition to distinguished speakers, there are also extraordinary special events and concerts on campus. People usually have to go to the best concert halls in the world to hear Andre Watts perform, but Principia students got to hear him at the College. Arlene Auger, Bruce Hornsby, Jesseye Norman, Airmen of Note, and the Emerson String Quartet performed on campus, too. In addition, Principia’s Public Affairs Conference (PAC)—the oldest student-run conference of its kind in the country—always attracts remarkable international speakers and impressive student delegates from other colleges and universities.
