Movie and television actor Matt Lauria and singer and recording artist Michelle Armstrong
Principia College Parents’ Weekend Presents a Family interview
7:00 pm, March 30, 2012
Talented performing couple Matt Lauria and Michelle Armstrong appear in an interview format live on Cox Auditorium stage. Matt made his television debut on the NBC comedy 30 Rock in 2007, but he is best known for his roles as Luke Cafferty on Friday Night Lights and Caleb Evers on Chicago Code. He also co-starred with Brooke Shields as Roy Merrit on NBC’s Lipstick Jungle.
A riveting and spirited stage performer, Michelle Armstrong writes and records melodies that complement her skills as a vocalist. She is often compared to great singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell or Patty Griffin. An accomplished guitarist, her resume includes musical theatre from a young age and two albums: Lemons (2006) and Apples (2008).
The Principia College Speakers Series is open to the public. Seating is general admission (first-come, first-served). An admission fee of $15 will be charged at the door. Principia employees, students, retirees, and their relatives are exempt from the admission fee.
