Social Life

Expect to make a wide circle of friends here.  And not just acquaintances or Facebook friends, but high-quality friends who will stick with you as you go through life. Students come here from all over the world, so there’s always something new to learn and share with the interesting people you meet.

Your peers won’t be the only wonderful people you meet, however. You’re bound to form close connections with professors, resident counselors, coaches, and staff members. Between sports teams, drama and dance productions, and scores of student groups, the hardest part about getting involved on campus is choosing what to do. Whether you’re into moot court or stand-up, fencing or sustainability, you’ll find good company during college—and most likely for life.

As diverse as everyone’s backgrounds and interests may be, it’s nice to know that Christian Science is the common bond. Faculty, staff, and students are all Christian Scientists—but they’re not all alike. Some are new to the religion; others have been attending Sunday School all their lives. Wherever you are on the spectrum, you’ll find people to talk to.

Principia friendships have a way of lasting. People at Principia are smart, funny, fun-loving, and deep. They come from all over the world, and each one is unique. Together, they form a vibrant and welcoming community.

The character of the people at Principia is really exceptional. I’ll be friends with them long after graduation.
