Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson, two of the most fiery and compelling American founders, are interpreted by Bill Barker (Jefferson) and Richard Schumann (Henry) for the world renowned Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Having thoroughly researched the period and issues, Barker and Schumann bring the characters to life in an entirely entertaining and informative presentation. Come see them debate the knottiest of founding principles, including religion in government. They are so believable in their characters that, after a while, you’ll think you’re in the eighteenth century instead of the twenty-first. Feel free to come in colonial costume!
