The Middle East Abroad (January 2015)
Janessa Gans Wilder, founder of the Principia-based Euphrates Institute, and Barry Huff of the religion and philosophy department will lead a four-week abroad to the Middle East. This program will focus on Biblical studies and contemporary issues in Israel and the West Bank.
Nepal and India (Spring 2015)
Learn the history, culture, religious traditions, and natural environment of Nepal and India. Courses will include religion/philosophy (Living Religions of the East), anthropology, Hindi language, and country studies. This abroad encourages students to use a medium of their choice – radio, video or writing – to document the stories they discover while abroad.
